About
Destiny Dance Company was founded in May 2013 by sisters Kristen Dean, Danielle Bonds, and Nia Robinson. The three of them have had a God-given talent and excitement for dance since they were very young. What started as a hobby slowly became a dream come true.
Talent quickly grew to passion as they began training at Fieldcrest School of Performing Arts and participating in Praise Dance at their church. Leadership and teamwork were cultivated as the girls devoted their time to a young woman’s organization called Chosen Daughters of Destiny, which was a Christian organization committed to empowering young women ages 10-24.
It brought young girls together and helped build the confidence that can only be found in God. This was just the boost DDC needed to fulfill dreams far beyond their expectations.
Under the umbrella of Heartlife Ministries, DDC decided to take a firm foundation and build something more through performing arts. In 2013, Destiny Dance Company came to life, offering girls and boys the chance to immerse themselves in the art of dance, acting and modeling. It gave them a chance to meet lifelong friends and build a loving community.
